2Lemon?  Oct 22, 2009 By dgirl
I hope it's just the particular item I received, but it broke upon the first use. I took it out of the box, and the retractable handle worked just fine. But after my personal belongings were inside and I pulled the handle out to take the suitcase to the airport the handle refused to return to its completely retracted position. I had to check it in at the airport for an international trip with the handle sticking halfway out. I am very unhappy with this product.

3Good buy but you can't pack it all up  Nov 18, 2009 By Harish C. Vaidyanathan "Foo bar"
I purchased this suitcase to carry a lot of stuff and it surely does! In fact this suitcase packs in so much that is very easy to exceed the airline baggage limits. As a result you can only pack it in about 70-80% leaving quite a bit of space for the packaged contents to move around and clothes typically tend to get crumpled as a result. I would recommend buying <29" suitcases instead.

The basics of the product like quality of zippers, wheels & fabric are good and have a rugged feel and on my recent return trip to India the baggage easily survived the manhandling with no visible scars!

4Solid  Nov 27, 2010 By dawson
I bought the luggage because I was moving to Korea for a year and needed something a little bigger to pack everything. Overall it held up really well, there are a few minor marks from travel but you'll get that with anything. It has thick handles and seems sturdy from top to bottom. I was a little concerned because i read that some people had problems with the handles but you would have to try to break these for one to snap. Also, you can pack a ridiculous amount of stuff in there but it ended up being a little too big. When I first packed it I think it was around 75lbs so I had to really work to get it down to 50lbs. I'm glad I got it because I plan on having more on the way back and just paying the overweight fee. So if you need the max size for the money this is your best bet but if you are trying to stay under the 50 mark then you might want to go with the 25". The only word I can think of is solid, it's not the best suitcase but no way you're finding a better product for this price. I'm glad I decided on the American Tourister, I think it's going to be a good investment.

1Bag fell apart 1st use  Sep 22, 2009 By W. Skinner
I have had great success with ordering from Amazon.com. This American Tourister suitcase did not match the picture I ordered. I sent it back once only to have them send the wrong suitcase again. I hope they take this one back also since it fell apart on the first leg of my journey overseas.

5Best and Cheap luggage  Dec 30, 2010 By Natarajan
This is by far the cheapest and the most durable luggage bag available. I ordered this product for 59.99 and it was value for money. I was also looking for another luggage bag, after this one arrived I knew I didnt have to search for a better one.

The price of the blue color luggage was increased after my first product arrived. I had to order an olive bag for my next, which also came for 59.99.

Also this luggage is pretty light weight which is an added advantage.

I would highly recommend this product
