5Best Map of Beijing  Nov 10, 2008 By Tess
I looked at over a dozen Beijing maps, and when I got there in October 2008, found this one was the most complete, the easiest to read and use, and very up-to-date. The street index was also the most complete, something you will really appreciate if you get off the beaten path and especially if you will be exploring any of the hutongs. It unfolds into quite a large map & that can be a little unwieldy, but it's worth carrying for the wealth of detail - for one thing, Beijing street names tend to be very long, and very similar to each other, and they change every mile or so (really!), so it's nice to have a format where you can actually read each one if you are trying to find something! Highly recommended.

4Very nice map, but getting outdated very quickly  Feb 27, 2012 By Michael A. Duvernois
This was the best map I could find ahead of travel to Beijing, but with construction there, there are new ring roads and new subway lines that are newer than the map. Just a word of caution, it's a great map, accurate and detailed, but don't be surprised at new development. Maybe a new version will appear soon?

5Beijng  Feb 04, 2012 By Vernon Tom
I liked this map the best of three that I purchased. The print was large enough for me to read without magnification. Portable enough for me to carry around while touring.
