Goodnight Texas Sep 12, 2009
By J. Rudolph Being a native, homegrown Texan, this book caught my eye right away. It is part of a wonderful series for children. We have a 6 year old granddaughter and a 9 month old grandson who are already enjoying this particular book of the series. The colors are bright and the script easy to understand. As little Texans, I want them to know about their Great State even as young as they are. The book takes the child on a trip across Texas from sunrise to sunset and therein comes the GOODNIGHT part of the book. I would recommend this book, as well as the others in the series, for any young child. It is small for small hands and has hard pages so there is no chance of the pages being torn. Just a great book all around.

Good Book Feb 28, 2008
By C. Simmons My daughter was born in Texas, but we live in TN. This is a great way to familiarize her with her native state. She loves the illustrations and it leads to great discussions about her heritage.
