Great Gift Aug 10, 2007
By Bridgett Barton I bought these tags as Christmas gifts for my Grandparents (they had a trip planned for that Spring.)I didn't know what to get them and this turned out to be a very usuful gift! They, like everyone else, have black luggage and the they said that the orange made their luggage easy to identify at the bag claim. The the plastic is really thick and durable. They are going to last forever (they've made it through a year and seven plane trips so far). The name/personal information is discreetly hidden....safe, but your luggage will still find you.

Just what you'd expect Jan 06, 2008

These are nice and sturdy, so you don't feel like they're going to get torn off on their first trip through the conveyor belt. It's easy to write your contact info, but it's also nice that the majority of the information is hidden behind the sliding plastic. So, when passing by all those eyes at baggage claim, all anyone can see is your name through the window.

Great Nov 26, 2007
By Mom of 4 These tags are great! I like that they are vivid colors; they are very easy to spot. The personal information (other than the name) is also very private, which I like. They are secure and seem to be of quality construction. Very pleased.

Excellent product! Jan 09, 2008

These babies stayed right where I put them through 6 flights on our recent New Zealand trip. They also made our luggage stand out from the few other pieces in a similar color (no, not black!). All the tags I could find locally had thin leather straps that I knew would break with minimal stress. I pulled as hard as I could on one after attaching it and it didn't budge.

Think Twice! Jun 22, 2010
By Kim A. I was SO excited to get these tags & thought they would be great when I opened the package. Maybe if I owned Samsonite luggage I would've been happy with them. I ordered 4. Three of them slide VERY (almost too) easily open. The 4th almost gave me a hernia trying to get it to slide open! I was very dissappointed when trying to put them on my NON-Samsonite luggage. It was difficult to say the least. I have heavy duty wide luggage straps on each piece of my luggage, and there was barely enough room to get my petite fingers between the strap on my luggage and the heavy buckle type strap of the newly purchased luggage tags. (For the purpose of this review I measured the Samsonite tags. The strap is 3/4" by 2" from the end of the tag.) It took 6-8 minutes (per piece of luggage) to finally get them on. It's hard to tell whether or not you have the little knob pushed into the hole far enough for a secure fit-- some go in further than others. With a few good yanks to test it out, I decided I had gotten the job done.
No problems on the flight out, but on the flight home after getting my luggage off the conveyer belt, I noticed on one of the luggage tags that the part of the tag that slides and allows access to your address, phone #, et. was completely missing! It had evidently been pulled completely off, although there were no sharp edges, obvious cracks, etc., and the luggage was in fine shape. Not a mark on it. I was glad I ordered extras, BUT... after unpacking I was ready to put my suitcases away. They nest inside of each other nicely to save space... well not with these bulky luggage tags still attached; there's no "give" in them at all. Not bendable. I will take them off and not use them again. The kicker is I ordered 4 of them & paid extra for quick shipping. Live and learn I guess. There are a lot of tags out there with leather flaps for privacy over the name/address/phone # info, and I'll be getting those for the next trip.
