 Not the Thomas Guide I have been accustomed to Mar 15, 2012

While the title is still Thomas Guide, and the pages have the same numbers, since the company was sold, the maps themselves are labeled different. Instead of being ABCDE and 12345 etc across the top of each map, it is at the bottom, which might sound minor, but after years of using the maps on a daily basis..old habits are hard to break. I DO like that it has North labeled on the maps however!

It's a thomas guide, it does what you think it will do. It is not too hard to use once you get used to it. In this world of gps's, a good guide is still needed at times.

This is the most comprehensive map book you will be able to get for Los Angeles County. Plan your own route. Sometimes the internet or even GPS devices will not lead you in the right direction because of traffic, road conditions or road construction. These maps will get you out of many a bind. All Thomas Guides are very well indexed by street and even major attractions.
