5great maps  Sep 08, 2008 By B. Bates
These are great reference maps for generalized recreational activities. Not as detailed as a topo map, but still packed full of outstanding information. I have one for every state and I don't leave home with out them. An improvement over simple highway maps.

4Handy little map  Jan 01, 2012 By Bob LaBlaw
This is a good road map for those vacationing in Arizona. I will use it on our next trip. This is only a good road map though, not at all meant for hiking or mountain biking.

3Topographic Recreational Map of Arizona  Jun 20, 2011 By Michael E. Boyd
Somewhat better than a state or AAA highway map. Maybe OK for looking for new wilderness areas or wildlife refuges that you are unfamiliar with. However, I doubt the level of detail is going to get you to a trail head without first consulting a Delorme state topographic map book or downloading more detailed directions from the internet.

5Finally Found!!  Jun 02, 2011 By Zavi
I got this for my backpack; they are very difficult to find even locally. I am happy I found it here. One item it does not address is that it isn't waterproof but they do sell a waterproof map product here on Amazon that gets great reviews on hikers websites.

If you want to laminate your map and still be able to fold it check out this product: Aquaseal Map Seal 4 Oz Water Proofing. I'm very excited to have this now as I am relearning how to use the map and compass and sealing the map will allow me many more uses esp. if it should rain.

Great hard to find item I def. recommend it.

4A Lot of Information, but it seems something's missing.  Jul 24, 2009 By Barb Justbarb
Maybe the fact is topographically Arizona isn't that spectacular. The mountains aren't very high, the lakes come and go, and the most interesting things are below ground level, say the Grand Canyon or the Colorado River. The Painted Desert is mostly flat, as is the Petrified Forest. In that way, it is one of the greatest states, south of the Great Basin, a large part desert, yet forest and snow. I just hoped for more detail, but I think the detail I was looking for isn't mapable.
