For our upcoming trip to Orlando, this book is proving to be a godsend: a virtual cornucopia of useful information neatly organized and indexed for handy use.
It also gives information that can be put into an iPhone, or iTouch, utilizing the GPS system. Thus making things like what to do in emergencies, where to find the nearest five star hotel or restaurant, a snap - as well as how to get to the nearest discount mall; what else there is to see in the Orlando area, where to find the best night life, where to get discount tickets to many of the attractions, or even where to search for a new home, or park for free. It ends with the top ten theme parks and fitness centers in Disney World.
In one handy volume, this better than average (even for the) "for Dummies" series, makes Goggling unnecessary and even a bit untidy. I goggled the Orlando Information Center and was greatly disappointed in what they had to offer: It proved to be one big advertisement without much useful information. The people on the phone (called directly to various places) seemed even less helpful often admitting that they did not know the area very well.
I am sold on this series, as so far, I have yet to find one that did not exceed my expectations. Four stars
